Motorcyclist, rider seriously injured in Salt Lake City hit-and-run crash

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Jan. 18, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) – A motorcyclist and passenger were seriously injured Saturday night in a Salt Lake City hit-and-run crash.

First responders were dispatched to the vicinity of South Main Street and Cleveland Ave. about 6:27 p.m.

According to the SLCPD PR Unit, both riders were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The “suspect vehicle” which hit them was last seen heading southbound on Main Street, the SLCPD statement said.

Main Street was closed between Cleveland and Kensington Avenues while investigators surveyed the crash site.
