ST. GEORGE, Utah, Aug. 20, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing mother and her three children after the youngsters were picked up from daycare in her car by David Gene Remley, who was banned from contact by a restraining order.
A statement from St. George police says Remley was restricted from contact after a “recent family fight” with 27-year-old Brittany Etta Deal. It did not specify the relationship between Remley and Deal.
“The children were last seen on (Monday) Aug. 19, 2024 at 5:15 p.m. when they were picked up from daycare by David Gene Remley in St George,” the St. George Police statement says.
“David was driving a white GMC Terrain registered to Brittany Deal. It is unknown if Brittany was inside the vehicle or anything about her whereabouts.
“There is an active protective order between David and Brittany and the children from a recent family fight. Because of this, we consider Brittany, Quentin, Braylee and Brixton to be endangered. This is currently being investigated and finding them safe is our highest priority.”
Deal is described as a White woman with bleached-blond hair and blue eyes. She is 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighs about 150 pounds. Deal has a dermal piercing on her right cheek, and a tattoo of mountains and arrowheads on her left arm. She has a tattoo of flowers on her right thigh.
The missing children are:
- Braylee Michelle Kelly, a 9-year-old girl with brown hair and eyes. She is about 5 feet tall and 80 pounds.
- Quentin Michael Kelly, a 5-year-old boy with brown hair and eyes. He is about 4 feet 8 inches tall and 60 pounds.
- Brixton King Halley is a 2-year-old boy with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 3 feet tall and 45 pounds.
Suspect Remley is described as a 37-year-old White man with sandy blond hair and blue eyes. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a striped T-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. Remley has a red and black star tattoo on his left upper arm, and a mole on his lower right cheek, near his top lip.
The vehicle involved is a white GMC Terrain SUV, with Utah plate number 5AF687.
