WEBER COUNTY, DAVIS COUNTY, Utah, Nov. 28, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are investigating after three armed robberies of 7-Eleven convenience stores in different Utah cities in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The first robbery took place at the 7-Eleven at 3195 Harrison Boulevard in Ogden at 3:14 a.m. The three suspects requested and were given cash, then fled the store.

The second took place at the 7-Eleven at 5600 S. 2014 West in Roy at 3:53 a.m.

Roy City Police Officer Stuart Hackworth told Gephardt Daily three men entered the store and showed a gun. They hit the cashier with the gun, Hackworth said, then stole an unknown amount of cash as well as items from the store.

The cashier did not need medical attention, Hackworth said.

The three suspects then fled the scene. Hackworth shared three surveillance photographs from that robbery. In those photos, one suspect is wearing a black or gray hoodie, with black jeans, a pink T-shirt and gray boots. A second suspect is wearing a black hat with a gray hoodie around his neck, a white T-shirt, white and gray gloves, gray shorts and white sneakers. The third suspect is shown standing at the door of the store and is wearing a black hoodie with an image of a white fist on the front and navy pants.

Hackworth said the Ogden and the Roy robberies have been positively linked and most likely involve the same suspects and it is thought that the two robberies are linked to a third incident in Woods Cross.

Woods Cross Lt. Adam Osoro said that robbery occurred at the 7-Eleven at 1515 S. 500 West at 4:48 a.m.

A gun was brandished and the suspects were given an unknown amount of cash.

No injuries were sustained in the course of the incident.

Osoro said detectives are viewing surveillance footage and evidence recovered at the scene.

It’s not clear at this time whether the suspects fled on foot or in a vehicle but, because of the distance between the locations, it’s likely they fled in a vehicle.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call Ogden City Police Department at 801-395-8221 or Roy City PD at 801-774-1063 or Woods Cross PD at 801-292-4422.
