SPRINGDALE, Utah, April 24, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The Narrows in Zion National Park are closed due to high flow in the river, officials said Wednesday.
Park officials tweeted the news:
“Spring snowmelt causes the Virgin River through the Narrows to become unsafe. In an average year, it is likely that the Narrows will remain closed into late May.”
Riverside Walk is still open, the Wednesday morning tweet said.
A previous tweet from the park listed the current trail closures, which are indefinite.
