TOOELE, Utah, July 1, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A 14-year-old is in critical condition after a shooting in Tooele Sunday afternoon.
Tooele City Police spokesman Sgt. Jeremy Hansen told Gephardt Daily the shooting was first reported about 1 p.m. in the area of Mobile Avenue (400 South) and American Way (650 West).
The 14-year-old was transported to an area hospital by ground ambulance.
Police then obtained a search warrant to enter the home; an investigation is ongoing, Hansen said.
The events leading up to the shooting were not immediately clear.
